The Golden Rule asks that we treat other people as we would like to be treated ourselves. As this might mean different things to different people, by way of guidance I would suggest that disagreement is fine, provided that:
(a) You are considerate of the feelings of other people, and
(b) Use tactful, courteous and respectful language to express your views, and
(c) Refrain from expressing your views in a way that could be construed as a personal attack on another human being.
(2) Content
(a) Please try to stay on the topic, and
(b) Do not post any commercials and other spam.
(3) Comments on Social Media
For those who would prefer to comment on social media, please visit the relevent post on any of these platforms:

I’d appreciate it if the same comments policy could also be followed when interacting with others via either of these platforms.
(4) Breaking the Rules
As the Supreme Ruler of this blog I have unfettered powers to:
(a) Decide if the rules have been broken,
(b) Make offending comments disappear, and
(c) Make up any other rules I consider necessary as we go along.
